Kelly Design was formed in late 1984 after its founder, Kelly Krommenhoek, discovered that his service was attractive to all that were seeking new home or addition design or remodel advice & design.

Kelly Design has always been against the cookie cutter approach to designing. We feel that all customers can appreciate some level of uniqueness in their home.
A custom designed home doesn't have to be expensive. At Kelly Design we always listen carefully to customer input and then address those issues that potentially can be costly. It is our desire that there be no surprises in the price of your new custom home. We earnestly do not wish to waste your money on a design that you cannot afford.

Mission Statement
The mission for Kelly Design is to produce truly unique residential designs. Our goal is to be quality oriented. Quality, in this instance, is to be defined a high degree of customer satisfaction, and a level of accuracy in the construction documents that completely surpasses the competition.
For the web site, it is our goal to be information oriented. It is our wish to facilitate the design process for the customer and in so doing the customer would consider Kelly Design for designing their new dream home.

History
KELLY DESIGN
The proprietor - Kelly Krommenhoek has been part of the construction world since 1971. He was trained in all phases of construction - from foundations to finish. He began drafting by hand in 1978 while honing his construction skills. His formal design/business training was completed in 1982 with a degree in Management Science and minor in Construction management & Accounting. Kelly Design began producing blueprints as a company in 1984 till the present.
In 1989 the adoption of CAD (computer-aided drafting) revolutionized the firm. The introduction of CAD greatly improved the design process. Cost effective enhanced detailing became possible, which led to improved accuracy and more information on the construction documents. The capability to do 3D modeling was added at the turn of the century to keep the company on the cutting edge of technology.
